PATHKEEPER SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY

INTELLIGENT PRE-OP PLANNING
PRE-SURGERY SCAN UPLOADED

The patient’s CT scan data is uploaded into the PathKeeper system.

SURGERY PLANNING ON WORKSTATION

PathKeeper’s surgical planning software enhances the patient’s pre-operative CT scan to create a 3D image for optimal visualization of the spine for precise surgical planning.
ACCURATE IMPLANT PLACEMENT

PathKeeper offers real-time, precise tracking of individual vertebra, tracking each level independently.
Independent tracking gives surgeons actionable information if there is anatomic or reference array movement. The surgical field can quickly be updated by a quick optical scan.
The PathKeeper system assists the surgeon throughout the procedure by continuously providing real-time feedback on location and trajectory of the surgical instruments with tool tracking accuracy within a millimeter.

QUICK OPERATIVE SETUP
TOOL SETUP

The PathKeeper system is agnostic to the brand of surgical instruments preferred by the surgeon. Each tool is first equipped with spatial markers and undergo a quick calibration to ensure accurate tracking throughout the surgery.
Once the patient is prepped and the target anatomy is exposed, the 3D camera captures a surface scan. An automated registration is performed so that the surgeon can verify that the surface scan is accurately matched to the pre-operative CT scan.
During the surgery, with a simple click of a button, the PathKeeper system can take a 3D surface scan on-demand and refresh the registration quickly, without the need for a CT, thereby eliminating inoperative scan radiation.
